Research On Existing Problems In The Construction Of Community Policing

Community policing originated from the fourth policing revolution in the West in the 20 th century.It is an important part of modern policing reforms.It changed the traditional policing model,emphasized the interaction between the police and the community,and jointly govern the community.It has become an irresistible trend.Community policing was introduced into China by Western countries in the late 1980 s and early 1990 s,and it gradually integrated with the basic policing basic work of the country and the policing traditions of group prevention and group management,and was accompanied by social management systems in recent years.Innovation,community policing has become the focus of our country’s policing construction and research within the current period and in the coming period,with the advantages of diversification of its governance body and integration of various social resources.So far,domestic and foreign experts and scholars have made a lot of achievements in the research on community policing,but there are few targeted empirical studies.The H community in Rizhao City,Shandong Province has vigorously promoted the construction of community policing since 2012.Through the understanding of the basic situation of H community policing construction,the study of the community policing work flow,assessment mechanism and the analysis of the main initiatives of community policing construction was conducted.The current problems in the construction of H community policing and the reasons for the formation of such problems,in order to propose appropriate solutions.The current construction of community policing emphasizes the construction of basic policing,but the awareness of daily prevention is not strong,the matching of community policing and the characteristics of the community itself is weak,and the community’s prevention and control management tradition has failed to fully exert its enthusiasm for prevention and control.The lack of material manpower and the quality of the community civilian police are yet to be improved.Many of the above factors have led to many problems in the construction of community policing,such as the unscientific operation mechanism of community policing,the incomprehensive work of community auxiliaries,the incompleteness of community hardware and facilities,and the low participation of the masses in policing.How to solve many problems in the construction of community policing is the focus of current community policing research.In the construction of communitypolicing in the future,the community should strengthen the education and publicity to raise the awareness of the community police and residents,distinguish different types of communities,explore the distinctive community policing mechanisms,and use the latest technology to build a system of air defense and physical defense.We will allocate sufficient police force,reform assessment methods,and improve reward and punishment mechanisms to improve community policing effectiveness.The continuous advancement of social transformation has led to the emergence of more new types of illegal crimes in the society.As a policing strategy,community policing must be further optimized,solve current difficulties,and improve the effectiveness of comprehensive prevention and control of illegal crimes.To maintain social stability and harmonious social relations.
