An Empirical Study On The Causes Of Drug Abuse Among Youth Under 35 In Yunnan Province

In recent years,the global drug problem has became an important factor that influence human survival and development.Preventing the harm of drug is still a long-term and arduous task we are facing with.This article concluded the present situation、the characteristics and the reasons of adolescent drug abuse by investigating and analyzing the adolescent drug abuse who are under 35 years old.Then the author put forward a series of measures to prevent teenagers drug-abuse problems.The questionnaire survey is set in the enforced isolation to drug rehabilitation center and community rehabilitation centers and the methadone clinics in Dehong,Baoshan,Dali,Chuxiong,Xishuangbanna,Puer,Yuxi and Kunming of Yunnan province.This survey used 200-400 questionnaires in each place,and took back 2204 effective questionnaires.This article elaborates the reason of adolescent drug abuse who are under the age of 35 years old from the following several aspects,and put forward corresponding countermeasures.First,the author introduces the situation of yunnan province and the status of drug-abuse problems in yunnan province.The author analyzes age,gender,and type of the drug which drug-abusers use of the drug-abusers who were registered by the yunnan province in the first half of 2012.Then the author draws a conclusion that a number of drug-abusers has increased year by year,the gender is male in the majority,the age is between 18 to 60 and the type of drug based on heroin.The author reached a conclusion that more than three-quarters of the respondents used the drug for the first time under the age of 25 years old,and the type of drug based on heroin by questionnaire survey and case interview.Second,based on the analysis of the retrieved 2204 questionnaires,the author concluded the reasons of adolescent drug-abusers who are under the age of 35 at the present stage in yunnan province.Then the reasons include the aspects of individual,family and peer group which involved in drug-abusers own psychological cognition and interests,the relationship of family members,and the interaction of the individual friends,etc.Third,the author puts forward measures to prevent teen drug use by three aspects-macro,medium and micro-levels.First,the macro.Perfecting the system of legal policy and social system is good for preventing teen to use drug.Then came the medium meso.In order to strengthen the drug prevention education for teenagers,we should change the original educational mode with the help of community,school and family.Finally,the micro.We will continue working to prevent teenagers drug-abuse problems by psychological counseling,legal education,conduct,ect.
