Francis Ellis's Artistic Characteristics Research

Francis Al(?)s is a typical contemporary artist who is active in art exhibitions all over the world.He has never been trained in art class,but his artworks are full of personal style due to the background of architecture and engineering and the in-depth analysis of current social problems.An in-depth observation and analysis of social problems is the inexhaustible source of Al(?)s’ s artistic creation.It is also true that his works have strong personal characteristics and spiritual unity in the use of whatever media and forms of expression.The first chapter analyzes the artist’s personal experience and the background of the times,analyzes his personality and explores the embodiment in his works.This paper sums up its artistic characteristics as ‘allegory’.And in the second chapter,it analyzes three aspects that embody the allegory.The third chapter analyzes the creative ideas behind Al(?)s’ s artistic characteristics from the inside through his interviews and his manuscripts.Through the combination of Al(?)s’ s understanding and choice of different media,combining with his own creative experience,i reflect on the shortcomings in my works,and obtains the renewal of my own creative concept.
