On The Development Of The Performance Form Of Erhu "Bright Walk"

Lighting March,which was composed by Maestro Liu Tianhua,is a rare Erhu masterpiece with March style.As a traditional Erhu masterpiece,the performing forms of Lighting March has been renewing continuously,which shows the popularity of the march is always increasing.Lighting March is undoubtedly a successful attempt in the process of the westernization of Erhu.The transformation from Erhu solo to Chinese orchestral music with rich harmony is worth considerable research,so as its development progress.The first two chapters of the thesis would focus on the different types of the performing forms of Lighting March and the reason of the change.In third chapter,the diverse development of Erhu performing forms nowadays and its necessity would be discussed deeply,as well as the meaning of the change in performing form of Erhu.
