Research On Douyin Behavior From The Perspective Of Speech Act Theory

Tik Tok enjoys great popularity among the public today.A growing number of researchers focus on the study of Tik Tok,but the existing researches are unbalanced,mainly about media study as well as commercial value.The study of Tik Tok utterances hasn’t been paid enough attention to by linguists.50 pieces of ‘Face to Face’ Tik Tok short-form videos are collected and analyzed in this thesis.It is found that although the context of the speaker is different from that of the classical speaker,the speaker is still the initiator of the speech act.This is one of the reasons why we regard Tik Tok as speech act.Tik Tok short-form video platform is the language environment of Tik Tok speech act.Based on general intention,illocutionary acts can be divided into assertives acts,directives acts,commissives acts,expressives acts and declaratives acts.Based on functional intention,They can be divided into daily sharing speech acts and commercial profit speech acts.From the perspective of pragmatics,the characteristics of Tik Tok speech acts are analyzed in this thesis,so as to provide a new perspective for the relevant research on this phenomenon.
