Research On The Diversity Of Zhang Ailing's Prose

Since the 1980 s,the research on Eileen Chang has sprung up gradually,but it is still not prosperous.However,The main research objects are concentrated on her novels and life,the research on Eileen Chang’s prose and its diversity lays behind them.It is obvious that Eileen Chang’s prose is diverse,for example,the materials she drawn of her prose are diverse,these prose talk about life,relatives or friends,music,painting,dancing,reading and culture,it can be found that her prose talk about almost everything under the sun.Or,the styles of her prose are also diverse,such as essay,comment,preface,quotation,postscript and so on.There is no systematic summary of this diversity in Eileen Chang’s prose,This paper focuses on the diversity of Eileen Chang’s prose,studies the characteristics of the diversity of her prose in terms of theme,style,intertextuality and aesthetics,and summarizes these characteristics.On the basis of in-depth study of Eileen Chang’s works and previous scientific research achievements,this paper sums up the diversity of her prose themes into female life themes,urban life themes,personal life themes,art appreciation themes,performance art themes and cultural criticism themes;And the diversity of prose style is divided into autobiography,essay,quotation,preface and postscript,literary theory and art theory,book review,cultural comment,travel notes,film review and illustrated biography;Also,this paper divides the diversity of Eileen Chang’s prose intertextuality into plot Intertextuality between prose and novel,theme Intertextuality between prose and novel,Intertextuality between prose on literary theory,Intertextuality between autobiographical prose,Intertextuality between prose and modern urban culture,Intertextuality between prose and Chinese traditional culture,and Intertextuality between prose and foreign culture.At the same time,the paper will also explore the subjective and objective conditions and factors of the formation of the diversity of her prose by analyzing her life experience,education environment,creation environment,cultural market consumption environment and many other factors.According to this,the thesis will further explore the aesthetic characterformed by the diversity of Eileen Chang’s prose.
