The Enlightenment Of The Official Seal Of Sui And Tang Dynasties To Modern Creation

During the Sui and Tang dynasties,the seal forms underwent a sudden change.The seal characters were written in the style of small seal characters,the seal styles were enlarged,the seal characters were arranged flexibly,and the forms were diversified,highlighting the unique characteristics of this period,the formation of the Sui and Tang dynasties period of the unique seal style,as one of the important history of Chinese seal creation Matrix.The first chapter summarizes the research status and main achievements of the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasties in recent years.In the second chapter,the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasties comes from the result of the epitaph from the North Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty through consulting materials and text comparison.By comparing the spatial effect of the seal,the official seal of Sui and Tang dynasties can be divided into two categories: the whole,the part and the part,the whole and the whole.According to the number of words,the official seal of Sui and Tang dynasties can be divided into two rows and Three rows of style arrangement;through the contrast of lines,it can be divided into three categories: solid line,dotted line and combination of virtual and real.Through such classification,we can have a more systematic understanding of the official seals of the Sui and Tang Dynasties.Then the author applies the above characteristics of the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasty to the creation,in addition to this,he thinks that he also combines the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasty with the ancient seal of Warring States period to form a new seal cutting style,and combines the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasty with the inscription calligraphy of epitaph to form a new seal writing style.Through continuous in-depth understanding,the author finds that the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasties is the source of the official seal of Xiaozhuan and Zhuwen after the Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty,and the establishment of the seal system of other ethnic groups in East Asia is also the result of the influence of the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasties.Through the use of creation,the author’s creative vision is more open.While inheriting the official seal of Sui and Tang Dynasties,he actively integrates with other elements and gradually forms his own features.
