At present,attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)patients are often accompanied by emotional disorders.Research shows that the emotional disorders of ADHD patients may be caused by their difficulty in effective emotional regulation and there are some differences in the choice of emotion regulation strategies between ADHD patients and normal people.This article hopes to compare whether there are differences in the use of emotion regulation strategies between ADHD-prone pupils and normal pupils.A total of 30 primary school students with ADHD-prone and 30 normal primary school students were selected in a primary school in Tianjin.Through experiments,the differences in the adjustment effects of three emotion regulation strategies of expression inhibition,cognitive reappraisal and experience avoidance in adjusting negative emotions were compared between their ADHD tendency primary school students and normal primary school students.The results show that(1)ADHD-prone children can effectively reduce negative emotions by using three emotion regulation strategies: expression inhibition,cognitive reappraisal and experience avoidance.Normal children can effectively reduce negative emotions by using three emotion regulation strategies.(2)Compared with normal children,ADHD-prone children have no significant difference in the adjustment effect of cognitive reappraisal strategy,while the other two strategies have significant difference in the adjustment effect.ADHD-prone children are significantly lower than normal children.(3)ADHD-prone children and normal children use three emotion regulation strategies for emotion regulation,there is no significant difference in the regulation effects of the three emotion regulation strategies.Conclusion: There are some differences in the use of emotion regulation strategies between ADHD children and normal children.Attention should be paid to the emotion regulation of ADHD children in daily life and they should be taught to use various effective emotion regulation strategies flexibly.
