This paper collects 248 Chinese dialect doculects.Based on the core words of dialects, the ASJP tools is used as the research program to calculate the phonetic similarity distance. The calculation results are shown as distance matrix, phylogenetic tree and phylogenetic network,to observe and analyze the relationship and distance of 248 Chinese dialectsThrough the comparative analysis,it is found that Chinese dialects can be divided into northern dialects represented by Mandarin and Jin dialect, and southern dialects represented by Wu/Hakka/Gan/Min/Ping dialects and Cantonese. In the northern dialects, the Mandarin are relatively close to the whole, with small differences, high homogeneity.Mandarin dialects have deep internal contacts, making it difficult to distinguish subordinate dialects.Jin dialects are divided into two branches.Due to closed natural geographical environment,Jin dialects in Shanxi Province are less affected by surrounding dialects, with slower language evolution, large internal differences and low homogeneity. And this branch of Jin Dialect has a close relationship with the Central Plains Mandarin in the South of Shanxi Province.Jin dialects in northern and outside Shanxi province are greatly affected by the surrounding Mandarin dialects, and they have developed rapidlySouthern dialects are far away from each other as a whole, with large differences and low homogeneity.Among them,Min dialect and Wu dialect have the longest distance and the largest difference.Gan/Hui/Xiang dialects have obvious transitional characteristics. The distance between Ping dialect and Cantonese is relatively close.Compared with the Ping Dialect in Northern Guangxi, the Ping Dialect in Southern Guangxi is more similar to Cantonese.Hakka and Gan dialects share a common higher node. They developed together in the early stage, and then split into two branches and developed independently.
