A Study On The Literature Of The Lan Family In Jimo During The Ming And Qing Dynasties

The Ming and qing dynasties was an important period for the rise and development of shandong's cultural families.Most of these cultural families started as officials in the imperial examinations.After the Ming and qing dynasties,they had profound family knowledge and had important influence on politics,economy and culture of shandong and the whole country in Ming and qing dynasties.The Lans emerged in the chenghua period of the Ming dynasty.As an important cultural family in Jimo region,The Lans has made important achievements in family education,official in the imperial examinations,literary creation,etc.,especially in literature,cultivating a number of outstanding literary writer and creating a large number of literary works with artistic value.They has a clear pursuit and proposition in poetry creation,which makes their poetry and prose creation maintain its own uniqueness in the trend of restoring ancient ways,and injects a fresh stream into Jimo literary world.This paper aims to trace the origin and development of the family,combine with the background of The Times,explore the achievements of The Lans in the field of literature,and analyze their literary works,so as to enrich the case study of the cultural family of the Shanzuo literary world in the Ming and qing dynasties.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction,five chapters and conclusion.The introduction is divided into two sections.The first section clarifies the research significance and value.The literary achievements of The Lans are rich,but they have been buried for a long time and cannot be well recognized.In addition,their literary works are badly lost,so it is necessary to research them.The second section describes the current research status,the preservation and arrangement of literature,and the current research results of The Lans.Chapter 1 is about The Lans and its documents.The first section mainly traces its family origin and sorts out its family development history.The second section is to sort out the family documents,which are mainly divided into foreign family documents,family genealogy and family multiplication,and to sort out the writings of the members of The Lans.Chapter 2 is the study about literary theory of The Lans.According to the opinion of LAN zhongwei,a member of The Lans,in the preface to the collection of poems Xia Wai Ji,combining with the poetry creation of The Lans,it is summarized as the following three points: the study of learning,the poor and backward work of poetry and the importance of the cultivation of poetry.As a cultural family,their family tradition was to revitalize the family through reading and the imperial examinations,it makes them take learning as poemin their poetry creation and condense a strong sense of research and the encounters in life.This paper analyzes the poetry creation of the representative figures of The Lans,explains their main meaning,reveals their artistic characteristics,and summarizes the distinct personal colors and the family generality in the poetry creation of the blue family,that is,the heresy of loving mountains and rivers and the strong cultural color of Buddhism and Taoism.Chapter 4 is the study about articles of The Lans,which is divided into three sections according to the types of articles: miscellaneous records,biographies and other categories.The miscellaneous records are divided into two parts.One is the chronicle,which records the history of Jimo region and the events in its family development.The second is landscape,this kind of article describes the beautiful scenery of Jimo area.There are two parts of the biography: one is the fairy stories,which mainly depict the fairy characters with strong religious color;Second,the life of the world,the main description is divided into three directions: officials,families and women.It shows their view on the way of being an official,the memory of the family members and the praise of the good qualities of women.Other articles mainly about postscript and inscriptions.The postscript shows its literariness in document creation and shows its family members' political ability and way of serving officials.The inscriptions are rich in content,most of which are argumentative and strong in argumentation.Chapter 5 is the literary intercourse of The Lans.This chapter mainly studies the relations between members of The Lans and various poetry circles in the Ming and qing dynasties,including Li Ze Shi She,Hai Dai Shi She,Zhang Shi Shi She,and the communication between members of The Lans and some literati.It is through these literary contacts that The Lans' s poetry and prose creation is enriched by others,forming their own uniqueness and exerting an important influence on Jimo
