My Opinion On Rossini's Vocal Suite "Venice Regatta"

Gioachino Antonio Rossini is a famous Italian composer who devoted his whole life to music and created many excellent and well-known opera works.In his later years,he created artistic songs with a strong sense of drama,which were liked by the public.Vocal divertimento "La regata veneziana"is the most special one of his many artistic songs.There are three songs in the "La regata veneziana",respectively is "Anzuoleta avanti la regata"、"Anzuoleta copassa la regata" and "Anzuoleta dopo la regata"。The environment before,during and after the regatta and the state of protagonist Anzuoleta are describedThrough the analysis and study of Rossini’s Vocal divertimento "La regata veneziana",this paper mainly explores the character characteristics and music performance,singing analysis,style comparison and application in practiceThis article is divided into three parts:The first part discusses Rossini’s life,historical contribution and creative background,including Rossini’s contribution to vocal music,the 19th century European cultural background and the background of the creation of the works;The second part focuses on the lyric translation of "La regata veneziana" and the relationship between the characteristics of characters and music performance;The third part focuses on the singing analysis,style comparison and application in practice of "La regata veneziana".In this part,by way of example and list comparison,this paper compares the different singing treatments of six foreign singers,and sums up the problems that will be met in practice.
