Paintings often rely on content and form to further reflect their regional characteristics and the spirit of the times,or to express the author's inner feelings and motivation.Spirit is the motive force of artists in their artistic creation, and the social essence embodied by the common people's art in the bottom society can better reveal the meaning of the spiritual core, which is the concentrated embodiment of the social spiritual essence. It is the cry of the people's spirit. It is the most realistic portrayal of the art world and the artist's observation and sympathy with the working people.Throughout the history of art, there is no doubt that the art of Ukiyo Painting has set off a "world trend" all over the world, and the world art has been influenced by Ukiyo Painting.Similarly,Van Gogh was deeply influenced in this special period.Van Gogh was deeply influenced by the style and spiritual outlook of Ukiyote paintings, which changed the trajectory of his paintings, resulting in a unique style of painting different from that of his early years.Under the influence of Ukiyo painting art, there is a sharp contrast between the style of painting and the tone of light and shade.Japanese Ukiyo printmaking had a profound impact on Western art in the 19th century, especially in the later stage of development, especially on Impressionist painting. This influence lasted for nearly fifty years in the Western Impressionist School, and formed a upsurge in the history of Impressionist art called "Japanese doctrine".It is not difficult for us to find that in modern art, there are obvious Oriental impressions on the whole, especially the factors of Ukiyo painting.Ukiyoshi painting has become the source of inspiration for the development of Impressionism, including Van Gogh,Manet and Monet. We can see from the works of Manet,Monet and Degas that they learn from Ukiyoshi prints.By learning Ukiyoshi painting, they integrate Japanese factors with Impressionist factors and create their own artistic language. This paper is mainly divided into four parts. The first part is to give a general account of the purpose and significance of the research, the research summary at home and abroad, and the basic ideas and methods of the research. The second part is to give a brief analysis of the artistic characteristics of Japanese Ukiyo painting. The third part focuses on the analysis of the works of Impressionist painters, and further elaborates how to make Japanese Ukiyo painting and Ukiyo painting. His works have been integrated. The fourth part is about the influence of Ukiyo painting on the works of Van Gogh,a representative of Western Impressionism, focusing on the analysis of the influence of Ukiyo painting on Van Gogh.At last,it looks forward to the further exchanges and cooperation between eastern and Western cultures.
