A Study Of The Narrative Folk Song "Norigalma"

"Nulgerma" is one of the representatives of Horqin’s narrative folk songs.It is not only an important part of Horqin folk literature,but also plays a decisive role in the history of Mongolian modern literature."Nulgerma" is one of the well-known folk songs in Horqin area.From the middle of the 19th century,modern China has experienced the process of semi-colonial and semi-feudal society,and is in danger of dying at any time,and Horqin’s narrative folk song "Nulgerma" was born in such a special era.The storyline mainly revolves around the protagonist’s marital life of Nulgerma,depicting the love story of young lovers divided and combined to expose the darkness and ruthlessness of the feudal social warfare and express the ordinary people’s longing for a peaceful era and a better life.Regarding the collection,collation,and research of"Nulgerma",the narrative folk song "Nulgerma" circulates in both textual and oral forms.Throughout the scholars’ research on the narrative folk song "Nulgerma",most of them are mainly collected and collated,but the cross analysis of their written and oral texts is relatively weak.This article mainly uses field survey methods,comparative research methods and text analysis.Methods:A comparative study of 16 different versions of the narrative folk song "Nulgerma",trying to explain the birth,development and historical evolution of the narrative folk song"Nulgerma".In this way,the prosperous narrative folk song "Nulgerma"is studied.This article is composed of five parts:introduction,text,summary,references,and appendix.The introduction part briefly describes the purpose of the topic,the significance of the topic,the research method,the research overview and the explanation of the original historical materials.The first chapter is mainly based on the various texts(including written texts and oral texts)of the narrative folk song "Nulgerma" and the field survey data,and tries to explain the social historical background and artistic characteristics.The second chapter explores the evolution of the narrative folk song"Nulgerma" in the process of communication by comparing the 16 different versions of the narrative folk song "Nulgerma".It is proposed that the narrative folk song "Nulgerma" has changed in the aspects of language,plot,characters,and place names in the process of communication.The third chapter through the analysis of the above two chapters,reveals the unique image creation,dramatic storyline and rich language features of the narrative folk song "Nulgerma".The summary section makes a general discussion on the above three chapters.
