Investigation And Research On The Status Quo Of Liao Opera In Wafangdian

Liao Opera is a new type of Chinese opera that generated in the 1950 s.It mainly circulated in the south central of Liaoning Province,such as Wafangdian,Gaizhou,Bayuquan,etc.The various regions of Liao Opera has distinctive features in vocal style,performance form and repertoire.The research object of this paper focus on Wafangdian’s Liao Opera,divided into five chapters.Chapter 1: the ecotope of Wafangdian’s Liao Opera,to discuss the geographical,historical and cultural environment of Wafangdian’s Liao Opera.Chapter 2: the general situation of Wafangdian’s Liao Opera,discussing its origin and development.Chapter 3: the current situation of Wafangdian’s Liao Opera,the core chapter of this paper,was based on a lot of fieldwork did by author,to expound the current development of this opera.Chapter 4: the art form of Wafangdian Liao Opera,mainly analyzes its vocal music,plate-type,instrumental arrangement and so on.Chapter 5:some thoughts about Wafangdian’s Liao Opera,discussing some issues it has already met in the development and some suggestions to deal with these problems.
