| Five—ancestor Dharma Chan Master is a senior monk of Yangqi School of Linji Sect in Northern Song Dynasty.He is Baiyun Shouduan Dharma Master of Yangqi Sect.He is the next thirteenth generation of Nanyue.In the Northern Song Dynasty,the development of Yang Qi School was relatively calm,and its prosperity was behind the performance of the Five—ancestor Law.The Five—ancestor Dharma Exhibition was called "the first—class master in the world" by people at that time.It can be seen that the prosperity of Yang Qi School had a precursor.This paper holds that the Five—Patriarchal Falun Performances played an indelible contribution to the prosperity of Yang Qi School.In this paper,the structure of the Five—ancestor Falun is mainly from four parts: the background of the Five—ancestor Falun’s life,the characteristics of Zen and its influence,the way of dwelling and the influence of Zen Falun,in order to illustrate the important contribution of the Five—ancestor Falun to the prosperity of the Yangqi School of Linji Sect in the Northern Song Dynasty.This article is divided into five parts,the introduction briefly introduces the research status,research methods and significance of the Five—ancestor Dharma Exercise;the first chapter,starting from the background of the times and the development of Zen Buddhism,explores the life stories of the Five—ancestor Dharma Exercise;the second chapter,from the characteristics of the Five—ancestor Dharma Exercise,mainly including public cases and random teaching,and analyzes the Five—ancestor Dharma Exercise pairs.In the history of Zen Buddhism in China,the great contribution of written Zen and watching Zen Buddhism occupies an important position;Chapter III,focusing on the Five—ancestor Dharma Exercise to attach importance to the "virtue and benefit" of the Dharma Exercise and taking it as the center to analyze the Dharma Exercise of the Five—ancestor Dharma Exercise and inspect its management in monasteries;Chapter IV,the impact of the Dharma Exercise of the Five—ancestor Dharma Exerc The influence of the new Zen method. |
