In the thesis,the survey of Mongolian language use in Inner Mongolian bilingual environment is conducted by using the methods of questionnaire,conversation and observing.The situation of language acquisition,family language use,the choice of medium instruction and intergenerational differences in language competence are analyzed with social attributes and shown with specific data and graphs.The thesis consists of five parts as followings:The introduction explains reasons,background,source and significance of the topic.In chapter one,background of Mongolian language use and social environment such as geography,human landscape,Mongolian language policy and regulations are briefly introduced with data from the survey.And it also introduces concepts related research.In chapter two,language acquisition,family usage and choice of medium instruction are analyzed.The situation of Mongolian family language usage is analyzed from two aspects such as when communicating with elderly and communicating with peers.Choice of school medium instruction is observed from Mongolian primary and secondary school.In chapter three,the interviewees are divided by birth year,the written and spoken language ability of three generations and change of intergenerational variation are analyzed.In chapter four,interviewees are divided in the range of xian,banner and city and intergenerational difference of spoken and written language is presented.
