A Comparative Study Of Modern Chinese And Tibetan Abbreviations

With the rapid development of society.The rhythm of people's life has also change.In life,people tend to pursue the principle of time-saving and labor-saving.At the same time,they also conciseness and rapidity in daily language communication.These factors have jointly promoted the generation of abbreviations.The emergence of abbreviations has had different impacts on many different aspects such as politics,economy and culture.The use of abbreviations is a common phenomenon in different language.There are a lot of abbreviations in TV advertisements,the internet,newspaper and other different media as well as roadside shops.The extensive use of abbreviations has facilitated life and communication.At the same time,the widespread use of abbreviations poses great challenges to people'scognition.In recent years,the Sino-Tibetan academic circles have conducted various and multi-level researches on the application of abbreviations,and have also made corresponding achievements.However,there is still much room for research in Tibetan as compared with Chinese.On the basis of previous studies,this future expands Sion-Tibetan abbreviation by comparing and analyzing the corpus of the two languages.It describes the nature,cause and classification of Sion-Tibetan abbreviations respectively,and makes a detailed analysis and comparison of the similarities and differences of the formation methods.Furthermore,it makes a translatable and untranslatable analysis of the translations of the two languages,which provides some useful references for bilingual learners and also provides some useful scholar studying Sion-Tibetan abbreviations in the future.
