There are multiple relationships between Yokyoku and Buddhism.Since its introduction,Buddhism has occupied an extremely important position in the political culture of Japan. The main features of Buddhism's circulation and development in Japan are also faithfully reflected in the Yokyoku;the Yokyoku which is belonged to the Noh inherit the inextricable connections between Noh and Buddhism from the blood source;the main creators of the Yokyoku are most Buddhist, with considerable Buddhist knowledge and cultivation. The five major types of repertoires in Yokyoku have a phenomenon of Pan-buddhism in the expression of ideological content, which is specifically manifested in the use of a large number of Buddhist languages, thought of impermanence, belief in the Fahua Sutra,Pure Land Faith,Final thought and Maitreya Faith,as well as the national characteristics of Japanese Buddhism like "Dharma protects the country"," Unity between Buddhism and Shintoism ",and the popular saying of singing. There is also the influence of Buddhism in the artistic expression of Yokyoku: the "dream" of " Mugen Noh " has a natural connection with the "dream" of Buddhism, and "Mugen Noh" makes dream narrative through the full of Buddhist color dreams simultaneously achieves its surreal and imaginary artistic features;Buddhism does not dispel the tragic conflicts in Yokyoku, but provides the ideological basis for the formation of tragic conflicts, and deepens the tragic nature of its conflicts, which gives the recipient a tragic experience like loneliness, compassion, fear etc;the formation process of the aesthetic concept and its connotation of Yugen are influenced by Buddhism, under which concept, the Yugen's beauty of Yokyoku is indirectly influenced by Buddhism. At the same time, the Yugen's beauty of Yokyoku also contains the surreal,a large number of Buddhist related words(engo),Buddhist rhetoric and allusions of rhetoric, and solitude sense, and the direct reflection of Buddhist influences in the beauty of yojou to Buddhist interests.
