A Comparative Study Of The Phonology And Rhyme Between "Abstract Of Distinguishing Characters" And "Leizi Mengqiu"

Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》)is a rhyme book which has recorded Qingjiang dialect in Jiangxi province、Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》)was accomplished in 1757 AD、Leizi Mengqiu(《类字蒙求》)which recorded Nanchang dialect was accomplished in 1815 AD,and it is a rhyme book aimed at helping children learn characters and know things、Qingjiang dialect ang Nanchang dialect belong to Gan Dialect,but they belong to different dialect regions of Gan Dialect、So their phonetic system have something in common,but they also have some differences.The Initial Consonant System of Bianzi Zhaiyao《辨字摘要》)be summarized according to the co-occurrence phenomenon of different initial consonants、There are 20 initials in Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》),which are Bang(帮),Pang(滂),Fei(非),Ming(明),Duan(端),Tou(透),Lai(来),Ni(泥),Ri(日),Jing(精),Qing(清),Xin(心),Zhang(章),Chang(昌),Shu(书),Jian(见),Xi(溪),Yi(疑),Xiao(晓),Yu(喻)、Based on the Middle Ancient Origin,the vowel system of Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》)can be subdivided into Yinsheng Rhyme,Yangsheng Rhyme and Rusheng Rhyme、Yinsheng Rhyme include 11 rhyme system,which are Tai(台),Jie(皆),Suo(嗦),Xiao(消),Ji(基),Zi(姿),Zhu(朱),Fu(夫),Zhou(周),Gao(高),Jia(加)、Yangsheng Rhyme include 7 rhyme system,which are Tian(天),Shan(山),Gan(甘),Yin(因),Xun(熏),Tong(同),Huang(黄)、Rusheng Rhyme include 7 rhyme system,which are Zhe(哲),Da(达),Jue(决),Yi(一),Fo(佛),Shu(书),Yue(乐).The method of phonetic notation in Leizi Mengqiu《类字蒙求》)are direct phonetic notation and Niu four tones(纽四声)、Based on Voice Material in the Leizi Mengqiu(《类字蒙求》),the Initial Consonant System can be summarized as "Bang(帮),Pang(滂),Fei(非),Ming(明),Duan(端),Tou(透),Lai(来),Ni(泥),Jing(精),Qing(清),Xin(心),Jian(hong)(见洪),Xi(hong)(溪洪),Jian(xi)(见细),Xi(xi)(溪细),Xiao(hong)(晓洪),Xiao(xi)(晓细),Yi(疑),Ying(影)”、It’s vowel system division and reunion based on the Middle Ancient rhyme groups、Among Yinsheng rhyme(阴声韵),the rhymes Zhi(止)and Xie(蟹)are closely related,the rhymes Xiao(效)and Liu(流)are closely related、Among Yangsheng rhyme(阳声韵),the rhymes Shan(山)and Xian(咸)are closely related,the rhymes Zhen(臻),Shen(深),Zeng(曾)and Geng(梗)are closely related,the rhymes Dang(宕)and Jiang(江)are closely related、Among Rusheng rhyme(入声韵),the relationship of rhyme groups is roughly same with Yangsheng rhyme(阳声韵).The maximum difference of initial consonant between Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》)and Leizi Mengqiu(《类字蒙求》)is division and reunion of JianYin(尖音)and Tuan Yin(团音)、In Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》),Jian Yin(尖音)and Tuan Yin(团音)still keep discrete,while in Leizi Mengqiu(《类字蒙求》),Jian Yin(尖音)and Tuan Yin(团音)has merged、The another difference is the initial consonant Ri(日)、In Bianzi Zhaiyao(《辨字摘要》),the initial consonant Ri(日)still keep independent,while in Leizi Mengqiu(《类字蒙求》),the initial consonant Ri(日)and Ni(泥)has merged、The difference of vowel system mainly lies in the rhyme Xie(蟹)in Kaikou(开口)1 st and 2nd division of Jian(见)group、In Bianzi Zhayao(《辨字摘要》),the rhyme Xie(蟹)are still keep discrete,while in Leizi Mengqiu(《类字蒙求》),they have merged.
