Body is the carrier of drama performance.In the dramatic performance,the actors’ role shaping has a great impact on a scene,and the importance of body language as a tool for character shaping is even more obvious.This paper takes the character Lu Shiping(Mother Lu)in “thunderstorm” as an example to discuss the importance of body language in character building.In the research process,actors analyzed the script and characters during rehearsal,designed detailed body language,and created a relatively three-dimensional and full role.On the stage,I presented more intuitive characters to the audience.In the process of performance,body language is used to reveal the prescribed situation,promote the development of the plot,and clarify the relationship between characters,so as to further realize the importance of body language to character building.In addition to stage action and stage language,actors should make full use of body language to create more vivid and distinctive characters in future stage performances. |
