The "money text" is inscription on coins,is the most important symbol and characteristic of ancient Chinese coins.The formation of money text through writing,engraving,casting and other technological processes,has the similarities with pot inscription,seal,mirror inscription,tile and other calligraphy styles.On the basis of a great deal of reading of money guide,this paper systematically studies money text's calligraphy by absorbing the research results of Quan school's sages.The main discussed aspects are as follows: first,discuss the relationship between money text and World calligraphy.Second,introduce the ancient money calligrapher's writing,explain money text writer's life,the characteristics of the calligraphy,the historical background of the inscription,and study and distinguish the posterity's speculations about Quan text calligraphers.The booksellers involved include Li Si,Huang Xiang,Cao Xi,Ouyang Xun,Xu Xuan,Song Taizong,Song Zhenzong,Song Shenzong,Song Huizong,Song Gaozong,Cai Jing,Dang Huaiying,Zhou Boji,Dai Xi and so on.Third,discuss aesthetic value of money text calligraphy and the reference significance of coin characters,shape system for the art of seal cutting.
