Ecological sculpture is an important theme of public art in contemporary sculpture publicity.Under the influence of ecological aesthetics theory,public art is expanded in contemporary art.Its design or creation concept reflects human's protection and respect for the natural environment and understanding and care for human nature.This paper mainly carries out the artistic research on ecological sculpture from five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which proposes the topic of this paper from the aspects of research background,research status at home and abroad,and research significance.The second chapter is the overview of ecological sculpture.It mainly analyzes the generation,definition,design and creation concepts and types of ecological sculpture,and briefly introduces the current situation of ecological sculpture.The third chapter is the artistic characteristics of ecological sculpture,that is,ecological sculpture,culture and society are interdependent field;The integration of sculpture with environment,space and society;And the maintenance of the public environment and the natural growth of the ecological environment.At the same time,it points out that ecological sculpture has the inherent relation of the basic characteristics of "field,integration and nature".The forth chapter mainly discusses the imagination of the future development of ecological sculpture,from the eastern and western ideas for reference,humanistic care,the current level of publicity and the trend of diversified development four aspects of exploration,and finally draw the conclusion that there is an inherent logical connection between the field of ecological sculpture,integration and nature.
