When we talk about Korean Peninsula art today,we often regard it as a regional school of Chinese art.Korean art has been influenced and guided by Chinese art for a long time, both in subject matter and in form. Can find a lot of the traces of learning Chinese art.Early Buddhist art in North Korea was greatly influenced by China, rather than a copy of China. In the middle and late period,Korean Buddhist art also showed a unique style with the role of a series of factors such as national spirit.Starting from Korean Buddhist statues, this paper explores how to accept and learn Chinese tradition, and how to form a unique style and style. Therefore, starting from the spread and evolution of Buddhist art in the three Kingdoms period of Korea, this paper makes a linear analysis of the style and style of Buddhist art at that time, and puts forward some opinions on the causes and influence of this style change.According to literature records,Korean Buddhism was introduced in its three Kingdoms, and the Koguryo and Baji dynasties accepted Buddhism in 372 and 384 AD,respectively, while the ancient Xinluo was relatively late and recognized the spread of Buddhism in its territory in 528.With the legalization of Buddhism in the three countries of Korea,Buddhist art gradually developed and flourished.Korean Buddhism was introduced from China,so the style and style of the early Buddhist art in the three countries could not be separated from the influence of China. However, due to geographical differences,Buddhism in the three kingdoms of Kogouli,Baiji and Xinluo was introduced from the pre-Qin Dynasty and the Eastern Jin Dynasty respectively, which resulted in the difference of Buddhist art in the early period of the three Kingdoms. With the spread and development of Buddhism in Korea,Korean Buddhist art gradually overcome the influence of China, and gradually derived a unique self-style from the simple imitation of Chinese style. In this process, the popular styles of Northern Wei,Eastern Wei and Bei Qi gradually merged with the national character and local customs of the Korean Peninsula,Koguryo,Baiji and Xinluo also found their own style and features.Because of the geographical relationship,Korean Buddhist art is connected withthe Chinese vein.As a link between China and Japan,Korean Buddhist art also influenced the formation and development of Japanese Buddhist art to a certain extent. As the base of Korean Peninsula culture,Buddhist culture plays an important role in shaping the national psychology and character. Therefore, the study of Korean Buddhist art is the key to trace back to the source of Korean art style. At the same time, the study of Korean Buddhist art,but also provides support for the widening of the macro-vision of East Asian Buddhist art.
