Thoughts On The Development Status Of Modern Dance Cross-border Creation In The Environment Of Small Theaters In Southern China

Modern dance has developed rapidly since it came into China as an exotic dance.With the promotion of international art crossover,Chinese modern dance creation has shown diversified development in both form and technique.The combination of modern dance itself with painting,sculpture,installation and multimedia imaging technology has made the crossover creation of modern dance become the norm,and the influence and significance behind this trend cannot be underestimated.Through comparative analysis,the author of this paper comes to the conclusion that the contemporary dance creation of the small theater in the two sides and three places has different development status in the trans-boundary context.There are many reasons leading to the phenomenon of differentiation,but the root cause is still the differences in the level of economic development between the three regions.Politically,mainland China is a socialist system,while Hong Kong and Taipei are capitalist systems.These differences lead to the presentation of different cultural forms.The crossover creation of modern dance shows diversified choreography techniques in different environments of the three places,and the creation techniques are labeled with stylistic features.The content of the work will be affected by the current political environment to varying degrees,and then the phenomenon of following the trend will be generated.In addition,no matter in what form the works produced by the theater are presented,they will reflect the profound traces of local folk culture and traditional culture.The three small theaters selected in this study are relatively minority,but they are highly representative and symbolic.There are obvious cultural differences among the three theaters in terms of the main creative team,operation mode and output of works.The author has carried out a quite long period for this field research and interviews,accumulated a lot of firsthand material,hope that through modern dance theater environment for the south cross-border creation status of carding analysis,get a more objective cognitive understanding,at the same time,the resulting on some phenomena and problems of thinking,for the future of modern dance theater environment cross-border creation to find more likely.
