| The door is the boundary of space,because there is its existence,only to determine the place where people live,distinguish between the inside and the outside,at the same time connected.The world inside the door is full of memories,outside the door is full of temptation,many images are projected on the door.In painting,since the Dutch painter Samuel Fan Hochstratten invented a perspective to form a frame through the door,at the same time,in Vermeer’s works also have a description of the door,in the later performance of the interior space of the painting this element is also common.The use of the picture on the screen by artists of different periods,whether it is the innovation of formal language or the communication of symbolism,has brought new possibilities.The research object of this paper is the door of the household,which is formed based on the cultural attribute of the door in real life and the formal expression in the painting works.The first is to understand the cultural meaning and spirituality of the door from the perspective of Chinese and Western architectural theory and phenomenology,and secondly,from the aspects of viewing style and emotional expression,to analyze and understand the doors appearing in the works of the three western Masters Lopez,Arikha and Hammershoi and finally combine their own creative practice,through the relationship between the bottom of the picture,light,The composition of space and the creation of atmosphere reflect the role of the door in space expression,so as to further expand the meaning of the gate in space thinking.The technique problems encountered in the creative process and the deep theoretical continuous learning behind the "door" broaden the thinking for the future creation,especially the communication and understanding of the spatial atmosphere,which is conducive to the emotional expression of their works. |
