The profound transformation of modern prints began with the new woodcut movement advocated by Lu Xun in the 1930s.Mr.Lu Xun once said:"When the revolution,the prints were the most widely used,although they were in a hurry,they could be done in an instant." Modern prints took the opportunity of the new woodcut movement,from copying woodcuts to creating woodcuts,changing their original means of copying and printing.And become an independent paintingDuring the period of the Republic of China,the study of the emerging printmaking movement was the germination and growth period of the new woodcut movement in the macro-logical framework of the history of modern Chinese printmaking.It experienced the period of the domestic revolutionary war,the period of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,and the period of the Liberation War.One of the far-reaching influences of the emerging printmaking movement is that it has established a deep mass base and become the main tool for wartime propaganda.The popularization of the emerging printmaking movement comes from the promotion of woodcut writers and woodcut associations;on the one hand,the woodcut works under the guidance of the ideas of universal art and the popularization of literature and art are deeply in life,reflecting the times;the woodcut itself as a "propagation method",and the exhibition Another form of "re-propagation." What are the stages of the development of the emerging printmaking exhibition that has been held since 1931?Is the exhibition one of the channels for woodcuts to go to the public?How do you interact with woodcut clubs,media newspapers,etc.to influence the overall development of the printmaking movement?This article is based on the perspective of the exhibition,to solve these problems in historical data analysis and data analysis.With regard to the emerging printmaking movement,there are already more detailed historical materials in the literature collection,letter arrangement,woodcut society,publications,etc.,the case study of important printmakers in the new woodcut movement period,and the influence of the introduction of foreign prints during the Republic of China on the creation of woodcuts.In the different periods,the graphic features of the woodcuts and the development of the expression language and regional woodcuts have related research articles,and there are few articles on the development of emerging prints from the perspective of exhibitions.This paper hopes to be based on the existing research literature and historical materials.The first chapter discusses the emergence and development stages of the emerging printmaking exhibition,and discusses its scale,time and space distribution from the perspectives of statistics and sociology,and classifies the exhibition according to the organization type.To explore the organization mode of the exhibition,the second chapter specifically combs the role of the media newspapers and magazines in the exhibition,examines the interaction between the exhibition and the newspapers,pictorials,etc.,discusses how the emerging print exhibitions become the main mode of activities,and the third chapter is about the exhibition.Printmaking creation and the substantive significance of the overall development of the emerging printmaking movement.
