John Maxwell Coetzee is a South Africa Australian writer,he was rewarded the Man Booker Prize for two times and was rewarded the Nobel Prize in literature in 2003.Taking Coetzee's immigration to Australia for the sector,this paper divides his fiction creation into South Africa period and Australian period and focuses on the themes of his Australian fiction creation,taking his fiction creation of the South Africa period as a reference.There are three main themes in Coetzee's Australian novel creation.1)Experience of immigrant,in this theme,Coetzee explores his political views after immigration and the construction of immigrants' identity.2)Life Consciousness,in this theme,Coetzee recalls his life course,explores the life predicaments of the white population in south Africa and the elderly,and justify the animals' lives' value and status.3)Discussion on ideological destination,in this theme,Coetzee summarized the problems he had been unable to compromise for many years.
