Sergei·Rachmaninoff is one of the greatest musicians in Russia from the late 19 th to the early 20 th century.He is a world-famous composer,pianist and conductor.His works are full of life experiences,strong emotions and have a strong Russian national music characteristics,which is an indispensable part of the late romantic music.The "Six moments musicaux Op.16" was finished in December of 1896,this work used the "Moment" genre,which was created by Schubert.Rachmaninoff enriched this genre.These "Six moments musicaux Op.16" was his early piano works,they were also considered to be a sign of his successful early-creations.This article is divided into three chapters: The first chapter introduces the life of Rachmaninoff,especially his early life and the creation of "Six moments musicaux Op.16",then the chapter summarizes the reasons for his early music style.In addition,this chapter will talk about Schubert's "Moment" genre and Rachmaninoff's development.The second chapter analyzes the details of each moment,including the analysis of the overall speed and the analysis of the music forms.The third chapter summarizes the common skills of each moment and the personality skills.
