From the end of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century, the western philosophy and aesthetics circles began to explain the aesthetic psychology and aesthetic essence with aesthetic empathy. In the early 1920 s,western empathy aesthetics began to attract the attention of Chinese scholars.Because there is a certain inherent empathy theory with the Chinese culture fit, western aesthetic empathy theory received wide attention of Chinese scholars,Lu Wei,Cai yuanpei and Zong baihua and others on the comments. In the 1930 s and 1940 s,Zhu guangqian made more comprehensive and profound comments on the western empathy aesthetics and established his own aesthetic theoretical framework. This paper takes Zhu guangqian and Zong baihua as the research objects, and focuses on the analysis of their "empathy" and "shifting my feelings ",so as to clarify their different understanding and acceptance of the western empathy theory and explore their different attitudes towards the western aesthetic concept system. This paper will be discussed from the following three parts:First of all, this paper expounds the ideological roots and characteristics of Zhu guangqian's "empathy theory".This paper tries to find out the ideological root of Zhu guangqian's "empathy theory" from the aesthetics of western empathy, analyzes his acceptance and innovation of the "empathy theory" of western empathy, and summarizes Zhu guangqian's ideological characteristics of "empathy theory",that is,his theory of "empathy theory" connects Chinese and western aesthetic thoughts. The kernel of Zhu guangqian's "empathy theory" is independent of the "empathy theory" of Lipps and the "inner imitation" of Groos, which is the criticism and synthesis of the aesthetic theories of opposites.Secondly, this paper discusses the ideological roots and characteristics of Zong baihua's "shifting my feelings".This paper tries to find the ideological root of Zong baihua's "shifting my feelings" from Chinese classical aesthetics, and sums up the ideological characteristics of Zong baihua's "shifting my feelings",that is,Zong baihua's "shifting my feelings" and "shifting the world" constitute the necessary aesthetic conditions. Then it discusses Zong baihua's criticism and absorption of the western "empathy theory",thus forming his unique aesthetic view of life. Finally, this paper compares Zhu guangqian's "empathy theory" with Zong baihua's "shifting my feelings",and holds that although they share the same aesthetic ideal, they have fundamental differences in their attitudes and ways of acceptance towards western transference theory, which reveals their differences in ways of argumentation and thinking.Since Zhu guangqian and Zong baihua have different ideological tendencies and ideological considerations when they treat western aesthetic theories, they take different approaches to interpret aesthetic experience.Zhu guangqian's potential analysis of aesthetic experience divides the world into two parts, subject and object. However, under the premise that the subject and the object were not separated, zong baihua realized the complete unification of the object and me through "shifting my feelings".Just like this,Zong baihua successfully avoided the trap of the two-part thinking mode of the subject and the object in the west.Zhu guangqian and Zong baihua's different attitudes towards western aesthetic theory give us different possibilities to construct Chinese aesthetics and help us to adopt more reasonable ways and attitudes in the exchange and collision between Chinese and western aesthetics.
