Dance sport is a new sport,which is the combination of sport and dance.It has the duality of sport and art.Sports dance is full of the flavor of the times and the nature of sports competition.It can not only strengthen the body,but also regulate and promote mental health.This dual effect of sports activities is also being confirmed by more and more modern sports science research.From the research results of sports dance,we can see that sports dance is a moderate intensity aerobic exercise,which has a significant regulatory effect on anxiety,depression and other emotions.The research object of this study is 120 female college students in the public sports elective course of Shanghai Normal University,including 60 female college students in sports dance elective course and 60 female college students in basketball elective course.Sixty students in the elective course of sports dance are the experimental group to intervene in the elective course of sports dance.Sixty students in basketball elective course are chosen as the control group.During the experimental period,strict requirements should be made to ensure that 60 female college students who practice sports dance do not exercise in any other unrelated sports items,and female college students who practice basketball should not do any sports dance exercises and related exercises.The reliability coefficient of the Chinese College Students’ Body Self-esteem Scale is 0.75 to 0.82,which shows that the scale has reliable reliability.After data collection,Excel and SPSS 22.0 software are used for data collection and mathematical statistics analysis to explore and analyze the influence of physical dance exercise on female college students’ body self-esteem.The results show that:(1)There was a significant difference in the level of body self-esteem between the experimental group and the control group(p < 0.05*).(2)According to the total score of body self-esteem,there are significant differences in the three dimensions of physical fitness,physical condition and sports skills among female college students who take physical dance exercise intervention(p < 0.05*).There were significant differences in physical attractiveness and physical self-worth compared with those before the experiment(p < 0.01 **).(3)There was a significant difference in the dimension of motor skills between the control group and the pre-experiment group(p< 0.05*);(4)There was no significant difference in the total score of body self-esteemamong female college students who had basketball exercise intervention(p > 0.05).(5)The average score of body self-esteem was 77.01.From this,we can draw the following conclusions:(1)Dancing exercise can improve the physical condition,physical fitness and sports skills,while it can improve the physical self-worth and physical attraction.(2)Before the experiment,the body self-esteem of the experimental group and the control group was at an average level.(3)Basketball exercise can improve the dimension of sports skills,but it has no significant improvement on physical fitness,physical attraction,physical self-worth and physical condition;(4)There is a significant difference between the level of physical self-esteem improvement in the experimental group and that in the control group.
