Directional forgetting refers to the phenomenon of memory impairment caused by the“forgetting” command,which is an important way for laboratory research memory control.The study of directed forgetting is mainly to examine the differences in performance(ie,whether there is a directed forgetting effect)between the different experimental conditions,indicating the memorization and indication of forgetting the project,and the resulting mechanism.As one of the most representative forms of meta-memory monitoring,learning judgment refers to people's predictive judgment on the scores of the items that have been learned in the future recall test.It is considered as a relatively reliable parameter evaluation parameter of meta-memory ability.The monitoring and evaluation of active forgetting ability is also an important part of meta-memory,but the study of combining meta-memory and forgetting is very limited.In recent years,some studies have found that the forgotten clues will affect the use of clues by the subjects,but there are still debates about how the characteristics of the project affect the metacognitive judgment of forgetting and the mechanism behind it.Based on this,this study will introduce learning and judgment into the directed forgetting paradigm,using Chinese double-words as the material to explore the influence of the word's emotional valence,word frequency,strokes and other characteristics on the accuracy of metacognitive judgment memory,ie meta-memory versus directed forgetting The monitoring of effects,while exploring the influence of different feature clues on the directed forgetting effect and metacognitive judgment,further clarify the different mechanisms of JOL and JOF.This study included three experiments.Experiment 1 is 2(word emotionality: positive,negative)* 2(word frequency: high,low)* 2(number of strokes: small,large)the experimental design inside the test,to examine the word elementary direction forgotten The characteristics and influencing factors of judgment;Experiment 2 through the directed forgetting paradigm,using 2(word emotionality: positive,negative)* 2(word frequency: high,low)* 2(number of strokes:small,large)explored the influence of the word clue feature on the accuracy of the directed forgetting effect on the meta-forgetting judgment.Experiment 3 was a design of 2(word emotionality: positive,negative)* 2(metacognitive prediction instruction: JOL,JOF)to explor the characteristics of the word titer on metacognition monitoring and monitoring accuracy in the coding stage,analyzing different emotions Under the influence of potency by by event-related potential technique(ERP),experiment result shows1.A significant directional forgetting effect occurs in metacognitive judgments with words as materials.JOL is significantly larger than JOF,that is,metacognitive judgment is affected by forgetting judgment instructions.2.The emotional valence,word frequency and number of strokes of words have a significant influence on the judgment and accuracy of meta-forgetting.The emotional valence and stroke of words have different influences on the influence of metacognitive judgment value and directional forgetting performance.Negative,low frequency and stroke multiple words are judged to be easier to forget,but appear on positive,low frequency and strokeless words.Significant directional forgetting effect.That is,the metacognitive judgment bias effect appears.3.The accuracy of learning judgment and forgetting judgment is influenced by the form of multiple clues.The directional forgetting effect appears in the metacognitive judgment of emotional materials,that is,JOL is significantly larger than JOF.For TBR projects,the metacognitive judgment value of positive words is higher than negative words,and there is no significant difference for TBF items.The negative words in the memory result impair the directional forgetting effect,and the bias effect appearing in the meta-forgetting is manifested in the overestimation of the forgetting ability.4.The accurate metacognitive judgment of positive stimuli is related to P300.Participants allocate more cognitive resources to remember the project,and actively adopt multiple cognitive strategies for learning and memory.The bias effect in meta-forgetting is manifested in the overestimation of the ability to forget.The mechanism of JOL and JOF is the common result of multiple effects.5.Different policy controls and adjustments in meta-oriented forgetting are in accordance with the Agenda-Based Regulation(ABR).When the goal is to remember,the subject will choose a more easily remembered selective retelling,and put more cognitive resources into it to be finely coded;when the goal is to forget,due to the suppression of the TBF project and the metacognitive process In the conflict of cognitive resources,the subjects chose to suppress the positive words(forgetting high confidence)and suppress them actively to achieve the purpose of intentional forgetting.
