In recent years,spy warfare plays,as an important theme of movies and TV dramas,have been deeply loved by the audience,and have also received a lot of attention from scholars in the industry.Espionage drama is based on the revolutionary history of China.It is the public's look back on that unique historical period,the salute to the revolutionaries,and the pinning of patriotic enthusiasm.In today's society,whether on the big screen or the TV screen,spy warfare plays occupy a place as an important type of movies and TV plays.It can also be seen that as a "hot" drama,spy warfare plays have important research significance and research value.Based on the development history of contemporary Chinese spy war dramas,this paper combines the historical backgrounds of different periods and analyzes the classic spy war drama works with the relevant theories of narratology,film and television aesthetics,psychology,audio-visual language,and summarizes the spy war dramas.The changes in narrative strategy summarize and analyze the narrative strategies of different historical periods in contemporary Chinese spy war dramas,and provide some help for the future spy war drama creation.The content of this article is mainly divided into the following aspects:First,to clarify the research object of this article,summarize the development process of contemporary China's spy war drama,and divide it into three historical periods,namely,the period of anti-special film,the development period of spy war drama,and the maturity period of spy war drama.This paper is based on Marxist literary theory.Second,the theme,these three historical periods can be summarized as “one heart and one mind to tell the revolutionary story”,“revolutionary love extravagant romance”,“regression of revolutionary narrative”.On this basis,combined with the representative spy war dramas of various periods,the characteristics are elaborate.in terms of character image,select the typical characters in film and television works and summarize their character characteristics.First of all,forthe heroic image,the heroic image of the Chinese spy war drama has completed the return from "God" to "People".For the negative image,the original facial image turned into a real person.The status of the female character has been significantly improved in the spy war drama,from the initial accompanying product to the "women can top half the sky",which also experienced a process change.Finally,for the discussion of secondary characters,this type of character is no longer ignored in the current spy war drama.Although there are not many inks,it is equally vivid.In terms of structural strategy,based on the classic film and television works,from the narrative time and space,narrative perspective,narrative clues and suspense settings,the different characteristics of the spy war dramas in different historical periods are interpreted.Generally speaking,with the development of the spy war drama,the creators have more flexibility in grasping the narrative time and space,the narrative perspective is more diversified,the narrative clues are more complicated,and the suspense setting is more emphasized.This has led to a single to diverse change in the narrative structure of the spy war drama.In terms of audio-visual language,based on classical spy warfare movies and television works,this paper summarizes the characteristics of spy warfare drama in audio-visual language in different periods.With the development of spy warfare drama,from the perspective of pictures,the scenery is more diverse and the motion mode of lens is more flexible;from the perspective of sound,spy warfare drama pays more and more attention to sound,and sound has become an important factor in narration.The significance of this paper is to sort out the history of espionage drama and summarize the changes of narrative strategies so as to provide development ideas for future espionage drama.Summarizing experience,reflecting inadequately,basing on the development of today's society,and artistic creation of audience's interests and needs,spy warfare plays will flourish forever.
