This academic dissertation talk about the systems and history of opinions,to comb the development of culture,whose aim to make the traditional Chinese culture modernization.Confronted the western culture,the development of Chinese traditional culture is a lasting problem,which we should always concern until now.In this circumstance,compared with the people who refuse the western culture completely,some ideologist insist on accepting and learning western culture gradually.Chinese people realized that Chinese culture and western culture must communicate,achieving harmony.Only by this way,can Chinese culture develop.So,the thinkers commence to looking for a way which could learn western culture,dealing with the relationship between Chinese culture and western culture.We endow to solve this problem from several dimensions,such as the metaphysical area and the political area.This dissertation has been composed by four parts.The first one is that confronted western culture,Chinese had done something.From the beginning,Chinese refused the western culture totally.After than,they admired western culture gradually,using the “Ti Yong” mode to learn western culture,expanding the meaning of western culture.Finally,they deemed that Chinese should learn western culture from all parts,The second part is that confronted the tendency that Chinese thought that traditional culture should be instead by the western culture,the learners who was called “ Neo-Confucianism” paid attention to Chinese culture,protecting the subjectivity of Chinese culture,proving Chinese traditional culture could develop the science and democracy.Furthermore,they thought that Chinese culture could cover the shortage of western culture,promoting the construction of the culture which apply to all over the world.The third part is that Marxian paid attention to basic principles of Marxism.They criticized and inherited the traditional culture,mixing the Chinese culture and the culture which came from the foreign countries.,creating the new culture which could apply to the modernization.On the base of this circumstance,establishing the mode of “the spirit of Marxism,the system of Chinese and application of the west”.The four part shows that the mode of traditional culture modernization which was established by academic area had been used in political area.There was a theory of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” which was proposed by Mr.Xi.So,Chinese culture has been developing,creating the new contexts,as the subject of creation,the subject of operation,the subject of life.Chinese culture has been creating the new contexts which was applied to the the trend of the times,building the base of cultural confidence,to form the Chinese style.
