China has a large number of outstanding intangible cultural heritages.However,they are affected by the global economy and culture in the process of modern civilization.Therefore,it is the common responsibility of all of us to carry forward and protect the intangible cultural heritages of our country.Nuo Opera and Witch Custom is an intangible documentary film.It focuses on the survival,development,and inheritance of the Nuo Opera in Sancha country of Enshi.It records the current status of the long-history ancient opera and tells the story of the inheritors of the Nuo opera,aiming to capture a documentary film that reflects the cultural as well as inherent value of the Nuo opera so as to raise people's interest in Nuo opera and the consciousness to protect it.There are mainly four parts of this paper: the planning text,the description of the work,the creation process and the summary of the documentary film,among which include the planning text,shooting notes,film scripts and so on.It fully demonstrated the planning,design and creation process of the entire documentary film,from which the experience is summed up.
