“The Colored-Glaze Family” is a documentary on human intangible cu ltural heritage about the production of traditional colored glazes.It truly records the production method of the yellow chicken oil glaze by Sun Yunyi,inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Zibo's rare material(Yellow Chicken Oil-Chicken Liver Stone),and the embossed processing technology based on this glaze.Being narrated by the two generations,Sun Yunyi and his father,the family's inheritance and development of yellow chicken oil are fully presented on screen.With the rapid development of modern glaze art,the traditional craft of glaze has gradually lost the inheritance of traditional craft formulas,raw materials and production technology.Facing to the fierce impact of modern technology,we should think about how to skillfully use video image to benefit the protection and dissemination of the intangible cultural heritage of yellow chicken oil,and how to promote the traditional glaze technology and modern commerce to be better integrated.This is not only a vision,but also a task.The documentary is an important carrier for the dissemination of traditional ethnic handicrafts.After a almost one year investigation and interview,I followed Sun Yunyi to visit the production workshop,ingredient plant,exhibition hall,the Forbidden City,and ceramics fair,experiencing and filming the magic and beauty brought by the colored glaze.The creation of documentary “The Colored-Glaze Family” is derived from more than 400 G filming materials,teasing out the art of glaze,national culture,intangible cultural heritage and other types of documentary creation model and drawing on the advantages of other types of creation.The structure of the documentary is considered from the previous topics planning,theme establishment,the mid-term research,filming and production,as well as post-packaging and other aspects.We hope to use video images to incorporate cultural emotions into the lens and create a charming space-time art.This will allow more people to understand yellowchicken oil,understand the precious ingiredients of Boshan,and have a deeper understanding of the traditional national handicrafts culture.
