A Translation Report Of Boris Akunen’s Detective Novel "Turkish Opening"

Detective fiction is one of the most popular genres in light literary works.It is a new type of novel and has a strong appeal to readers.In Russia,detective novels have become an indispensable part of people’s life.Therefore,the study of Russian detective novels has certain literary and social values.This is a translation practice report.Turkish Style Opening written by Russian contemporary writer Boris Aquinin is selected as the original text by the translator.Boris Aquininis is an idol writer in Russian literary world in the late twentieth century,and he is also one of Russia’s most popular writers nowadays.The novel was published in Russia by Zakharov Press in 2014.At present,there is no relevant Chinese version.The report discusses the difficulties encountered and the translation methods adopted in the process of translating the novel,which focuses on the processing methods and techniques of language,and gives examples for analysis and explication.The translator hopes to present a better translation version to Chinese readers,to provide a useful translation for the fans of detective novel,in the mean time,to make a contribution to the research of Russian contemporary culture through his tentative translation.
