Based on the analyses of the previous research, this thesis exploits the nesting type of phenomenon of virtual concessive complex sentence marked by "jishi...,ye...".The"jishi" part can include alternation relation complex sentence, illustrative causality complex sentence, turning complex sentence, suppositional relation complex sentence and sufficient condition relation complex sentence. The "ye" part can include any relation complex sentence except inferential causality complex sentence and concessive complex sentence. The former part of coordinating relation complex sentence and illustrative causality complex sentence can include "jishi...,,ye...",and the latter part of any relation complex sentences can include "jishi...,ye...".Seeing from the nesting ability,The nesting ability of "ye" is much greater than the nesting ability of "jishi".The nesting ability of the latter part of other relation complex sentence is much greater than the former part of other relation complex sentence.Seeing from the usage quantity of this phenomenon, that the "jishi" part includes sufficient condition relation and suppositional relation complex sentence has the largest number. And that the "ye" part includes illustrative causality complex sentence has the largest number. Moreover, that the former part of illustrative causality complex sentence includes "jishi...,ye..." has the largest number, and that the latter part of suppositional relation complex sentence includes "jishi...,ye..." also has the largest number. The nesting ability of complex sentence related to"jishi...,ye..." is influenced by the order of clauses and the semantic feature of conjunction words. The order of clauses determines whether "ji...,shi..." can include the other complex sentences. The semantic features of conjunction words determine which kind of complex sentences can be included in complex sentence marked by"jishi...,ye...".In addition, this nesting phenomenon is served as foil, used for emphasis, intensification and supplement.Besides,it can enhance subjectivity.Because of those pragmatic values, this nesting phenomenon can meet different pragmatic demand in different context.
