Zhou Yi is one of the Confucian classics,which called the “top of all classics”,and “the origin of the Great Dao”.Zhou Yi occupies a pivotal position in Chinese philosophy and plays a positive role in “various schools of thought”.Zhou Yi is just one of a book of divination,but deriving the Yi Zhuan(Ten Wings)for the systematic interpretation,which make the book of Zhou Yi promoted to the wisdom of life philosophy.Zhou Yi uses a very ordinary idea,but conveys a rich content,and bring considerable implications for our life.The Confucian culture especially emphasizes the cultivation of one’s own self,regulation of the family,governing of the state,and peace of the world.As the saying goes,“A peaceful family will prosper”,the harmony of the family can bring harmony to the society.Therefore,the Chinese traditional culture pays great attention to the family.The luscious of family concept has been clearly stated in the book of Zhou Yi,especially in the hexagram Jia Ren [(?),the Family,37],which brings the traditional family concept and the idea of manage a household to the extreme.Hexagram Jia Ren stress the important position of women in the family,so the Gua Ci has only three simple words,and more complete present the traditional family division mode of the women has her correct place within,and the man has his correct place without.In the meantime,it also gives us a reference management mode of modern family.From bottom-up of the six lines,it can be seen that this is a very complete set of methods and principles of manage a household.The first thing is strict precautions,then to keep the mean thought,then rather strict than to lenient,then enriching the home is very auspicious,then members of family can love with each other,and finally can regulate of the family with integrity.In this way,it can complete the worldly ideal from self-cultivation and put family in order to rule of the world.In addition,Yi Zhuan from the idea of the hexagram Jia Ren,expounds the thoughts of the Confucian,and from the Xiu Qi Zhi Ping to Humanitarian ethics.If the ethics in each family is right,the world will tend to be more peaceful.“When the family is correct,all under Heaven will be established” is a sentence in Tuan of the hexagram Jia Ren,it exerts the “gentlemen” of Confucian cherish the idea of country and world,which make the concept of strong political color runs through it all.From this view,the purport of the hexagram Jia Ren and the political thought about the Great Learning in Li Chi are the same.Meanwhile,the exploration of the connotation of the hexagram Jia Ren is continuous under the Yi-Scholars,it also reflects the family view of Yiology and ancient scholars.
