On The Writing Of "death" In Lao She's Novels

There is a long-lasting topic in Chinese and Western literature-death.Artists in both China and the West use their own power to think about death,show death,and discussing death with imagination.In the history of modern Chinese literature,Lao She was one of the writers who performed more in death.Death in Lao She's writing is not only a static image,but also a dynamic plot,a fact of life.Therefore,death in Lao She's literary works can not be ignored position and role.This article aims to analyze the writing of "death" in Lao She's novels in detail and in various aspects in light of the specific novel texts.Therefore,this paper mainly sets the introduction and three chapters to complete the research goal.The introduction summarizes the reasons for the topic selection of the thesis and the research status of the problem,defines the concept of death,and summarizes the types of death in Lao She's novels.The first chapter of the thesis mainly discusses the connotation of "death" writing in Lao She's novels from the perspective of existentialism.By reading related works,we can find that death in Lao She's literary works and the existentialism have a certain sense of connection to the view of survival and death.Consciousness of death is the essence of Lao She's conception of death,and the initiative and freedom of death of characters in his works reflect this view of death.In this chapter,the author combines the analysis of specific works to explore the concrete manifestation of existentialism of death in Lao She's novels.The second chapter of the thesis is to analyze the artistic characteristics of "death" in Lao She's novels.This chapter is divided into four subsections,which analyze the artistic characteristics of Lao She's "death" writing from the angles of narrative language,narrative perspective,changes in narrative perspective,and imagery.Death is an ingenious arrangement in Lao She's novels.Therefore,the last chapter of the thesis is to analyze the function of “death” writing in Lao She's novels.First,the thesis analyzes the function and value of Lao She's death at the beginning,middle and end from the perspective of narratology.Second,Lao She himself pays great attention to the portrayal of characters.His characters are the purpose of his creation.Death hasplayed a unique role in the creation of characters.Lao She used death to perfect a character or to present images of people.Finally,the thesis analyzes the ideal function of the transmission of "death" in Lao She's novels.Through the analysis of the above three chapters,the author hopes to draw a more comprehensive and detailed "death" world,further approach Lao She's inner world from the perspective of "death" writing,and further deepen the understanding of Lao She's creative artistic personality.
