Idiom Teaching is an important part in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign language.The number of idioms has gradually become an important standard to measure learners'Chinese proficiency.More and more Chinese learners are not satisfied with the simple daily dialogue,they are eager to use Chinese for more in-depth communication,or to interpret the history and culture of China.Therefore,the study of idioms becomes the only way for them to reach their goals.Chinese idioms contain profound Chinese traditional culture,precipitate thousands of years of historical civilization,permeate the way of thinking of the Chinese nation,and with the solidification of its structure,the conciseness of language.The elegance of style is independent of the forest of Chinese vocabulary,but it is the idiom that causes great trouble to Chinese learners.The double meaning of idioms is the biggest obstacle to learning Chinese.However,the key to solve this problem is that teachers should consciously train students' metaphorical thinking ability in Chinese.Let students learn to use metaphorical thinking to speculate on the deep meaning of idioms.In this paper,the first chapter discusses the research background and significance,research on metaphor theory,summarizes the domestic and foreign,and analyzes the situation of Chinese idioms in recent years,the studies focused on the teaching method of idioms,idioms cultural interpretation and idiom error analysis of these three aspects.In addition,the author systematically collated and analyzed the related research on the teaching of Chinese idioms in the past few years in the metaphorical thinking.The second chapter expounds the essence of metaphor theory and the mapping basis of metaphor,differentiates the difference between conceptual metaphor and rhetorical metaphor,and reveals the metaphorical phenomena existing in idioms.The third chapter according to Lakoff and Johnson classification of metaphor metaphor in Chinese idioms will be divided into metaphorical idiom,metaphor and ontological metaphor Structure Idioms idioms,mainly discusses the definition of entity metaphor idioms,idioms according to the existence of the source domain and target domain,the entity metaphor idioms as the source domain and the target at the same time,there exists only the source domain domain and the source domain and the target domain are not the existence of these three types.The fourth chapter through the entity metaphor idioms individual entity metaphor idiom,selected HSK6 lexical syllabus senior Chinese textbook in the part of the entity metaphor idioms and a Chinese dictionary,questionnaire survey and design analysis,through a large number of questionnaire survey found that the main problem lies in the difficulty of idiom comprehension learners easily too literally,or it is not difficult to understand the idiom idiom comprehension morpheme leads to problems,cultural differences in idiom comprehension deviation;the use of this kind of idiom mainly exists in two aspects of grammar and context.The fifth chapter mainly based on the analysis of the reasons respectively from the cultivation of metaphorical thinking,metaphorical idioms,idiom teaching system of morpheme teaching,the metaphorical meaning of context in metaphorical idioms,idioms in effect introduced in the teaching of history and culture and put forward relevant suggestions,finally,in Chinese senior level students as teaching objects to select some representative idiom teaching design,the teaching of idioms related to inspire.
