Research On The "kan+NP+X+de" Construction

In the field of modern Chinese,the number of relevant literature on "Kan+NP+X+de " is not much studied from the Construction Grammar.This paper makes a systematic study of "Kan+NP+X+de " from two aspects of synchronic and diachronic angles by using the related theories of Construction and cognition.In the introduction part,we review the achievements of previous studies,find out the advantages and disadvantages of the current research,explain the main research methods and corpus sources,and define the object of the study.In the main part of the paper,we firstly analyze the specific components of "Kan+NP+X+de " from the aspects of characteristics and functions,the constant term "Kan" has the meaning of observation,evaluation and reminding,and the normal term "de" is determined as "?".The variable component,"NP" and "X" are analyzed from two angles of semantics and phonetics.The semantic features of variables that can enter the structure are also determined.Then we make an analysis of the whole structure,first of all,it is concluded that the construction meaning of the construction formula "Kan+NP+X+de" is an evaluation with strong expressive tone,the basic meaning of the construction "Kan +NP+X+de" is to express the emphasis,and its citation is to evaluate,the four factors that influence the construction meaning are component meaning,construction suppression,context and cognition.In terms of pragmatic research,the discourse function of the analysis of the construction of "Kan+NP+X+de" has four functions: opening,receiving,transforming and summarizing.In terms of interpersonal function,politeness is the main expression.In the structure type of grammaticalization research,on the basis of the specific mode of diachronic evolution,we analyze the reason of grammaticalization from the objective factors(context and used frequency)and the subjective factors(economical principle and communication requirements).At last,we compare the similar constructions "Kan+Ba+NP+X+de" and "Kan+Gei+NP+X+de" from three angles: syntax,semantics and pragmatics.
