| Relevant issues of doctor-patient communication have aroused widespread concern of society.Given the current doctor-patient relationship changes,in this paper,staff spoken language service condition are investigated from the visual angle of language services,explore all kinds of social factors influence on language service provider and the recipient,and put forward corresponding countermeasures according to the problems existing in the medical personnel oral language services.This paper consists of six parts.The introduction part explains the research background,research significance and research methods,reviews the theory of language services and medical linguistics research,and defines the scope of medical personnel oral language services.The second part is the main part of the paper.From the perspective of both doctors and patients,three subjects of oral language services to the medical personnel present situation has carried on the description and analysis with the method of questionnaire and conversation analysis,namely,the use of polite expressions,service language choice and use of medical terminology.From the third to the fourth part,the oral language service consciousness of medical personnel and the oral language service demand of patient are analyzed and the difference between Zhengzhou and Xi’an in dialect service consciousness and dialect consumption demand are compared by the method of combination of questionnaire and interview.The fifth part,some suggestions on the problems existing in the oral language service of medical personnel are put forward based on the previous description and analysis.The sixth part summarizes the views of the thesis and some thoughts of future research.The main points of this paper are listed as follows:1.The polite language service quality of medical personnel from high to low,in order of:the tone and manner of speaking>using of polite expressions such as Hello>using of appellation expressions>self-introduction.The scene is an important factor affecting the polite language services of medical personnel.Medical personnel and outpatients often establish a single relationship,while the long-term relationship is established with inpatients.Therefore,medical personnel have higher quality of polite language services for hospitalized patients.2.In Zhengzhou and Xi’an,the proportion of medical personnel who mainly use Putonghua as their working language reached 80%and 90%respectively.Among them,the dialect service awareness of medical personnel in Xi’an area is stronger than that of Zhengzhou,which may be related to the patients in provinces around Zhengzhou area,so the dialect problem faced by them is relatively simple.The consumer demand for dialects in patients in Zhengzhou was stronger than that in Xi’an,which was mainly due to more patients in the province.3.Nearly 40%of medical personnel use medical terminology to talk with patients.In the face of low-educated,low-level,young and older patients,medical personnel will use less medical terminology.The patient’s need for medical personnel to use medical terms is mainly located at these aspects,namely,more professional when using medical terms,can understand medical knowledge,ease to understand and consult the condition.In terms of the interpretation of medical terms,the medical personnel’s service awareness and the patient’s consumer demand are relatively strong.This is mainly due to the information asymmetry between the doctor and the patient.4.Some patients have the willingness to provide additional services for the oral language services of medical personnel,which indicates that the medical personnel’s oral language services have potential economic value. |
