Research On The Character Image Of "Barbiedale" In Herabal's Writings

Bohumil Hrabal(1914-1997)is an original and national writer in contemporary Czech literary.He created varies excellent literary works.In this series of works,he always portrays the figure of the same kind-the Pabitel.Therefore,the image of "Pabitel" is the key to understand Hrabal's works.This paper attempts to analyze the image of "Pabitel" by reading a lot of Hrabal's masterpieces.This article is divided into three parts,including introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part:it mainly introduces the life of Hrabal and his creation,and summarizes the domestic and international research background,explains the research meaning of this topic which laid the foundation for the study of the text part.The body part:consists of four chapters.The first chapter mainly describes the development of Czech literature,the experience of Hrabal's literary thoughts,the causes and characteristics of the "Pabitel" image.The second chapter is the focus of this article.It mainly analyzes the "Pabitel" image has different survival states at different periods in combination with Hrabal's works.From the initial "Yarmica"-"Pabitel-style chat" to the "Hanta"-"move toward into loneliness" to the final "Hrabal"-"return to self".It's not only about the path of Pabitel's developments and changes,and also reflects the growth of Hrabal as a great writer.They are closely linked.The author divided Hrabal's works into three periods of early,middle and late according to the times.The third chapter explores the connotation of the Pabitel image by excavating the Hrabal's growth experience and the social reality of Czech in the 20th century."Pabitel" represents Hrabal's himself,but also represents the whole Czech people.The "Pabitel"image group reconstructs the changing Czech society throughout the 20th century.The fourth chapter discusses the ways to create the "Pabitel" image in Hrabal's works,including Irony of the Prague-Humor,First-Person Dual Perspective and Fragmented Narrative.The conclusion part:it summarizes all the points of this article."Pabitel" as a typical character group image of Hrabal's works,it has own characteristics and implication.They shine in the Hrabal's works and even Czech and world literature.
