Analyze The Influence Of The State Of Vietnam And The Philippines On Their Policies In The South China Sea From The Perspective Of Geopolitics (1947-1969)

In the early days of the Cold War,Vietnam and the Philippines were less active in the South China Sea.Vietnam’s South China Sea policy basically recognizes that China has the sovereignty of the South China Sea Islands including the Paracel Islands,the Spratly Islands,and so on.The policy of the South China Sea in Philippines is basically a small number of state statements expressed by the heads of government to the south island reefs.They use private behavior to attempt to steal the sovereignty of the South Island Reef.From the perspective of geopolitics,we can dynamically analyze the process of power change from the historical and geographical background,and not be affected by short-term effects and ideology,so as to clarify the background and intrinsic motivation of the South China Sea policy establishment.During the early Cold War,the “decision makers” of the geopolitical situation in East Asia were the Soviet Union and the United States.In 1950,the Sino-Soviet alliance was established.The continental geopolitical forces led by the Soviet Union expanded to the Western Pacific region.The ocean geopolitical forces led by the United States were panic.The Korean War broke out and the relations of the two geopolitical forces in the East Asian broke up,which set the tone for the geopolitical situation in East Asia.The United States has established military alliances in East Asia to “contain” the continental geopolitical forces led by China and the Soviet Union.In the process of construction,oriented by the two “hot” wars of the Korean War and the battle of Dien Bien Phu,the tension and sensitivity of the geopolitical situation in East Asia were caused.Vietnam and the Philippines are small countries in the South China Sea.Thus they are greatly affected by this geopolitical situation.Vietnam and the Philippines have colonial historical backgrounds and were once colonized by France and the United States.In the colonial era,France adopted a high-pressure colonial approach,resulting in the resistance of the underlying Vietnamese people.It is vulnerable to the influence of radical nationalism and forms a geopolitical force that cannot easily accept the existing system.At the same time,the United States has more “British style” in colonial rule in the Philippines,making it easier for the bottom Philippine people to integrate into the modern state system.After World War II,France and the United States made a comeback.Vietnam’s confrontation during the colonial era under the tension and sensitive East Asian geopolitical situation in the early days of the cold war became a conflict zone between the two major geopolitical forces in the South China Sea,and its homeland security was seriously threatened.Become the “passive recipient” of geopolitics in the South China Sea.The political and economic systems left behind by the people of the Philippines in accepting colonial rule have not caused tremendous resistance,and the domestic situation has been relatively stable.In theearly days of the Cold War,under the tense and sensitive East Asian geopolitical situation,the Philippines was important because of its geopolitical position.The United States is bound to preserve its security and form a relatively safe state.Under the influence of internal and external factors,the Philippines has developed a normal national development model centered on economic construction.Most of the people’s concerns are in fields that are closely related to their lives,and have become “users” of geopolitics in the South China Sea.In this context,the South China Sea policy in Vietnam and the Philippines will be different.“Passive recipients” lack the initiative in the South China Sea politics and form an inflexible South China Sea policy.The Philippines has taken the initiative in the formulation of South China Sea policies and has used its geopolitical situation to seek the sovereignty of the South China Sea reef.Through comparative studies on the policies and policies of the two countries in the South China Sea,we can see that both countries are small countries,and the South China Sea policy is greatly affected by the geopolitical situation in East Asia.At the same time,the two countries reacted differently to the situation,which stems from the differences in the geopolitical roles of the two countries in the South China Sea.The same as the countries of the South China Sea,their geopolitical roles of the South China Sea are different.It stems from whether the country can form a sustainable national state.
