The left wing and the Shanghai style literature was born in 1930 s with Shanghai,at the same time the two writers based on their life experience,class position and literary ideas feel everything in Shanghai.The two-way interaction between the city and the writer generates the multidimensional image of Shanghai,which have focused on the integration or alienation of the urban writing is a an endless topic.The left wing and the Shanghai style literature show the same and different urban landscape through the complex relationship between ‘city’ and ‘man’,and construct the image of Shanghai with different identity,highlighting the aesthetic characteristics of each characteristic,which has important value significance.It can be said that Shanghai has been endowed with rich interpretation and value connotation in the pen of the left wing and the Shanghai style writers.It is not only a simple urban symbol,but also contains two writers’ different thinking experience and life choice for the historical reality.This paper takes the left wing and Shanghai style literature as the main object of study in 1930 s,using comparative research method to interpret the Shanghai literature’s image generation,text presentation,narration art and meaning value in the synchronicity.The author will focus on explaining the similarities and differences between the left wing and Shanghai style literature in the writing and artistic expression of Shanghai image.In order to make a complete and real interpretation of Shanghai in the two schools of literature,we will go deep into the spiritual direction of Shanghai’s regional culture and writers’ group behind the image writing.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter traces the formation of the image of Shanghai and mainly discusses the interaction between the cities and the writers.The cultural character and city spirit of Shanghai provide the soil of literary creation.The creativity of the city itself has promoted the Shanghai writing of two writers.At the same time,the left wing and the Shanghai-school writers remolded Shanghai on the basis of their respective literary views,creative purposes and their urban experience.The second chapter mainly clarifies the text of the image of Shanghai,that is,to analyze what kind of Shanghai is written by the left wing and the Shanghai style literature.Through the comparative study of ‘prosperous Shanghai’,‘suffering Shanghai’,‘revolutionary Shanghai’,which are constructed by the two schools of literature.We can reveal the similarities and differences between Shanghai’s image and clarify the internal direction and spirit of the literary genre.The third chapter explores the art of narration of the image of Shanghai,that is,how to write Shanghai on the artistic level of the left-wing and the Shanghai style literature.This paper probes into the aesthetic appeal of the two schools ’literature from the aspects of narrative,visual angle,expressive technique and language.The fourth chapter introduces the unique value and significance of Shanghai image construction.Facing the same city,the image of Shanghai created by two writers is complementary.It restored the rich three-dimensional historical panorama,reflecting the same humanistic feelings of different intellectuals in the ups and downs of the times,showing strong cultural care and social responsibility.
