Environmental drama is a concept proposed by Richard scheckner in the 1970 s.In fact,the word "Environmental Theatre" in sheckner is a more accurate translation of the Environmental Theatre.Therefore,the concept of environmental drama is not a genre,so it can be said that environmental drama is a method of performance based on the use of theater space.The paper studies the history of the birth of environmental drama and the development of environmental drama after the 1970 s.At the same time,it also discusses the special theatrical art form produced by the combination of environmental drama and architecture,sculpture,installation and other forms of art.The same environmental drama,in its continuous development,shows a special and independent theatrical performance.The thesis consists of four parts.Part one: starting from the historical development of environmental drama.Focus on the historical origin of the word "environment".Through the analysis of the environment drama space,to show the unique spatial structure of environmental drama.And the composition of environmental drama space is thought and explained.The second part: through the analysis of the environmental drama case,the device,the body,the building occupies the special form in the environment drama space,finds the new form of the environmental drama self-development.The third part: the analysis of the relationship between the audience and the actors,from the analysis of the form and form of space to the research and deepening of the human spirit world.The fourth part: the ambiguity of theatre space and space to the environment of study,converting back to the subject of experimental design,will study the laws of space and space relativity to use in the new design task.
