Abstract/Summary:
Furong zhen(A Small Town Called Hibiscus)is a famous novel written by Chinese writer Gu Hua,in 1981 year won the Mao Dun Literary Award.As a reflection of contemporary social life in the rural South China,the novel shows to buyer Chinese geographical environment,natural scenery,historical traditions and folk customs which are reflected in the daily life(behavior,habits,cultural customs and so on).Because of difference between Chinese and Russian language,culture and other factors,constitutes a barrier to translation,which results in mistranslation.In my work,taking the Chinese edition Furongzhen written by Gu Hua and its Russian edition interpreted by Russian sinologist Semanov as research material,thesis studies mistranslation phenomena between Chinese and Russian by the ways of comparing and analyzing.The paper concludes the typical reasons causing the mistranslation and provides the correcting proposals in order to enrich literary translation mistranslation research and give some help to literary translation practice.Chapter one chiefly introduces the purpose,meaning and structure of the study.Chapter two contains examples of cultural mistranslation found in Russian edition,then from the material culture,behavior and awareness cultural three aspects analyze reason of the cultural mistranslation then try to note the wrong places and give the referring translation.Chapter three contains specific examples of mistranslation in Russian edition,mainly from the vocabulary,sentence,chapter three aspects analyze mistranslation in the language level,and try to give the correct translation.Chapter four summarize what we learned from the analysis of mistranslation in the cultural and linguistic aspects,in order to enrich the theory of literary translation and give practical guidance to literary translation.
