A Preliminary Probe Into The Origin Of The Tibetan Nationality In Xunhua

The source of nation is the precondition of researching a nationand the core of Local History, and it has a great function. Because oflack of resources and early time makes people feel difficult to researchon it, however it is a needy subject that people should work on it.Comparing with Tibet area, the research on Amdo Local history is veryweak, even we could call that not started yet, so it is very needy andimportant to research on Amdo Local History.To identify the source of nation and people's identification is thefirst step on the research of Local History. In this thesis, i have my ideason the concept that Nation from Xunhua County is the Armyoffspring. Although there are very few resources on proving Peoplefrom Xunhua are not offspring of Army, but the lucky thing is there areancient Cultural Relic and old Tombs. Through the investigation of thesetombs and Cultural Relic, we found that these Tombs and relics have3500-5000years' history, and it is a combination of multicultural designs,and it is much earlier than dynasty Tang and Tubo. It means that therewere people living before Tibetan Army came to this place. Throughancient Cultural relics and Tombs and terms of references, i found thatPeople from Xunhua are not the offspring of Army.In that case, what Clan Tribes are people from Xunhua Including? In Chinese history, it says that people who were Living Xunhua area iscalled "Chang", and it has more than ten of different tribes.In the Chinese history, the description of Chang is ambiguous, butit can complemented by Tibetan history, it says in Tibetan history:"There were four big tribes in Tibet, which are Ser, Mu, Don, Ton ", andthe Character of Don is pretty similar with the Character of Chang, so iam doubt that The tribe of Chang is the Tribe of Don, and we could saythat people living in Xunhua are including the tribe of Don. In history, itsaid that the name of Chang was given by Chinese people who wereliving around. Since the name of Tubo came, the name of Chang wasdisappeared, and it represented the close bonds between Chinese andTibetan.After identification of its status, i tried to talk on period from Westhan and east han Dynasty to Tuguhun, had governed the Xunhua areaand the era of conquering the Xunhua area under the Tubo Government.I think that before Tubo Dynasty conquered the Xunhua area, it hadbeen already conquered by Tubo Dynasty. It is said that there weremany battles between Tang and Tubo Dynasty in Xunhua area andTibetan senior General was passed away in Duowei in Xunhua County.After series of battles, Tubo dynasty governed Qinghai and Gansu areasand administrative feudal system until ending. The native people of Donand the army lived together for long time and has formed the people living in Xunhua today. However, the formation of nationalities is acomplicated process, like in Xunhua, not only Don and army, but alsosome of Chinese, Mongolian, Wanyan and Dangxiang live in Xunhua,this is why i prove that Xunhua is not an offspring of army, it is amulticultural and multi-nationalities' combination.Since the Tubo Dynasty collapsed, the history of Xunhua could beseen in the Chinese history. In this thesis, i try to collect relatedresources to integrate the history of Xunhua area, and write some offamous brief history and quotation from Chinese history as the endingpart of this thesis for more understanding of Xunhua Area.
