| Purpose: To analyze the TCM syndromes of patients with malignant tumors complicated with deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremity(LDVT),and explore the relationship between different TCM syndromes and detection indicators,so as to provide a reference for syndrome differentiation and prevention and treatment of LDVT.Material and methods: The cases came from patients with malignant tumors complicated with LDVT who were admitted into the Oncology Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2017 to March 2019.A retrospective analysis method was adopted.A total of 61 patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected. The gender, age, primary tumor location, metastasis, thrombus location,KPS score, symptoms and signs, inflammation indicators, platelet count, coagulation indicators and others of patients were recorded in the Excel table, and the data were imported into SPSS23.0 statistical software, and descriptive analysis was used to conduct frequency statistics, and the symptoms and signs were analyzed into TCM syndromes by cluster analysis.Furthermore,it was analyzed whether there were significant differences among different TCM syndromes in inflammatory indicator, platelet count and coagulation function indicator.Results:1.A total of 61 cases were observed, including 22 males(36.07%)and 39 females(63.93%)aged 40-92 years, with an average age of 68.21 ± 10.94 years;58 patients with KPS scores below 60 points, accounting for a proportion 95.08%.2.Among 61 patients, there were 32 cases with unilateral thrombosis(52.46%),of which 17 cases were left(27.87%),15 cases were right(24.59%),29 cases with bilateral thrombosis(47.54%),and 7 cases with central type thrombosis(11.48%),35 cases with peripheral thrombosis(57.38%),19 cases with mixed thrombosis(31.14%).3.Among 61 patients with malignant tumors complicated with LDVT,there were 8 cases with lung cancer(12.31%),7 cases with gastric cancer(10.77%),6 cases with rectal cancer,6 cases with colorectal cancer,6 cases with breast cancer and 6 cases with ovarian cancer(9.23%),5 cases with pancreatic cancer and 5 cases with cervical cancer(7.69%),4 cases with liver cancer(6.15%),3 cases with esophageal cancer and 3 cases with prostate cancer(4.62%),2 cases with ureteral cancer(3.07%),1 case with osteosarcoma,1 case with non-Hodgkin lymphoma,1 case with kidney cancer and 1 case with endometrial cancer(1.54%).Two patients had double primary carcinoma and one had three among 61 patients. There were 45 cases with metastasis in 61 cases.4.Among the TCM syndromes of 61 patients with malignant tumors complicated with LDVT,there were 23 cases with dampness-heat amassment pattern(37.70%),20 cases with syndrome of intermingled phlegm and blood stasis(32.79%),and 18 cases with syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency(29.51%).5.There was significant difference in Fbg between syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency and dampness-heat amassment pattern(P <0.05).There was no significant difference among other TCM syndromes(P> 0.05).There was no significant difference in PT,APTT,D-Di among the groups with TCM syndromes(P> 0.05).6.There were no significant differences in WBC,NEUT%,CRP,and PLT among the groups with TCM syndromes(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.Patients with malignant tumors complicated with LDVT show intermingled deficiency and excess, with asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality. The Zhengqikuixu is taken as symptom, and dampness, phlegm, blood stasis, and tangible evil block are taken as disease.2.Dampness-heat amassment pattern is the most common TCM syndrome in patients with malignant tumors complicated with low extremity deep venous thrombosis(LDVT).3.There is a certain correlation between Fbg and the syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency. |
