Professor Shen Fengjun Explores The Connotation Of The Method Of Invigorating The Kidney And Promoting Blood Circulation And The Rule Of Medication For The Treatment Of "Arthralgia"

Objective:To explore Professor Shen Fengjun’s academic connotation of r einforcing kidney and activating blood method,and summarize Professor Shen Fengjun’s understanding of reinforcing kidney and activating blood method and related research results.Summarize Professor Shen Fengjun’s prescription medicat ion rules for Bi disease,and summarize his academic thought and clinical expe rience.Method:By searching the relevant classical articles and modern literature i n the Chinese Medical Dictionary(CD-ROM version,5th edition)and modern Chinese academic journals,this paper summarizes the understanding of doctors of past dynasties on reinforcing kidney and activating blood.Through literature r esearch and theoretical discussion,based on the classical theory of traditional C hinese medicine and combined with modern research,this paper summarizes an d analyzes the connotation of reinforcing kidney and activating blood method f rom the perspective of Kidney,Blood,Liver,Heart,Spleen and Lung,and then summarizes Professor Shen Fengjun’s understanding of reinforcing kidney and activating blood method and relevant research results.A retrospective collection of 129 first-visit prescriptions of Bi-disease patients diagnosed and treated by P rofessor Shen Fengjun and his disciples in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guiy ang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2009 to April 2012 was made.The basic information of Professor Shen Fengjun’s prescription medication was counted from the aspects of frequency,classification and perfor mance of traditional Chinese medicine by using the system of "Traditional Chi nese Medicine Inheritance Assistant Platform",and the analysis of Shen Fengju n The medication characteristics and dialectical thinking of "Bi disease" treatme nt.Result:Professor Shen Fengjun’s 129 prescriptions for rhinitis can be obtai ned by statistics of the frequency of medication.The ten drugs used are Angel ica sinensis,Chuanxiong,Safflower,Licorice,Epimedium,Paeonia rubra,Euco mmia ulmoides,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Peach kernel and Rehmannia glutinosa.The frequency of drug efficacy showed that the drugs of tonifying deficiency,activa ting blood circulation and removing blood stasis and eliminating rheumatism w ere the most frequently used drugs,with a total frequency of 1450 times,acco unting for 77.4%of the total frequency of drugs.They were commonly used i n the treatment of Bi disease.The statistical results of four properties show th at the order of descending order is temperature(1053),flat(390),cool(236),cold(159),heat(32).The statistical results of five flavors showed that the mai n flavors were sweet,bitter and pungent,which were 942,849 and 846,respe ctively.The frequency of drug use in channel tropism showed that the main dr ugs were liver meridian(1304),spleen meridian(764),kidney meridian(732),heart meridian(568),lung meridian(325).Conclusion:From the point of view of traditional medical theory and mod ern medical research,the five viscera are closely related to the generation,ope ration and function of blood.Kidney is the basis for the physiological effects of heart,liver,spleen and lung.Professor Shen Fengjun believes that the metho d of tonifying kidney and activating blood circulation is not only the use of to nifying kidney and activating blood,but also emphasizes that tonifying kidney should be the basis,five organs should be in harmony,and promoting blood ci rculation,so as to play the role of strengthening body resistance and eliminatin g evil.Professor Shen Fengjun’s top ten medicines for Bi disease are Angelica sinensis,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Safflower,Licorice,Xianling Spleen,Radix Pa eoniae Rubra,Eucommia ulmoides,Salvia Miltiorrhiza,Peach Seed and Rehma nnia Rehmanniae.Professor Shen Fengjun prescribed more warm drugs and fewe r heat drugs to patients.Most of the medicines used were sweet,bitter and spi cy.Most of the medicines used are into the liver meridian,spleen meridian an d kidney meridian.Based on the assistant platform of traditional Chinese medici ne inheritance,Professor Shen Fengjun’s medication rule for Bi disease is in li ne with Professor Shen Fengjun’s method of reinforcing kidney and activating blood.It also objectively proves that Professor Shen Fengjun’s advocacy of the t reatment of Bi disease coincides with the medication rule of "deficiency,blood stasis and pathogenic qi".
